The conduct of Watson isn't normal. This isn't the way investigations have been handled over the years. Calvin Ridley was suspended for a whole season for gambling $1.500 over a four-month period. The league's investigation into allegations of Madden 23 coins domestic violence on Greg Hardy lasted two months in 2015. The Ray Rice scandal lasted seven months.

The Browns were allowed to make him the highest-paid quarterback in the Madden NFL 23. and shield Watson from financial harm from the possibility of suspension by cutting his 2022 salary , and also paying Watson more at the back side.
