1. Make sure Winamp is not running!
2. Extract all of HLamp's files to C:\HLamp.
3. Download and install the Winamp 2x Plugin Manager from
http://www.hlamp.com/php-bin/download.php?file=wa2pluginmanager
4. Copy C:\HLamp\Command Menus\your_mods_name\commandmenu.txt to your
mod's directory (e.g. C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\cstrike).
5. Run Winamp.
6. While in Winamp, press Ctrl+P. In the window that pops up, scroll down
on the left and select Winamp 2x Plugins from the list.
7. Go to the Plugin Path tab. Enter C:\HLamp in the New Search Path box
and click the Add button.
8. Restart Winamp and go back to the Winamp 2x Plugins area. You will
either see Plugin Not Loaded or HLamp 1.30 in the list of General
Plugins. If you see Plugin Not Loaded, click on that text and then
click the Load button.
9. Close the Winamp preferences window and load some songs in Winamp.
10. Run Half-Life and bind a key to +commandmenu. The default in
Counter-Strike is H. To bind a key type "bind h +commandmenu" in the
console and press <ENTER>.
11. Press the key you bound to +commandmenu and use the Winamp menu
to control Winamp.
